Submitting of abstracts is finished. The Conference Fee is 1000 RUR.

 Conference topics:

  • Taxonomy, phylogeny and evolutionary morphology of various plant groups.

  • Current problems of biological taxonomy and evolutionary morphology including relationships between phylogenetics and taxonomy.

  • Methodological aspects of micro- and macrosystematics and perspectives of recognizing all taxa of all ranks as monophyletic units.

  • Biogeographical and ecological aspects of microsystematics and microevolution, including phylogeography.

  • Fossils and molecular phylogenetics; dating of taxa using fossils.

 Working languages: Russian and English.

Deadline for abstract submission: October 30, 2016. Abstracts should be submitted using e-mail to the following address: konf.tikhomirov.2017@gmail.com.

The abstracts (including main text, title, authors and addresses) should not exceed 10000 characters with spaces. Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spaced. Italicize names of genera and taxa of lower rank. The abstract must include e-mail address of the presenting author. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. If necessary, up to two black and white or grayscale figures can be included. Submit each figure as separate TIFF file named like Petrov_fig1.tif. Figure size: up to 10 x 15 cm, resolution: 600 dpi. Figure captions should be provided at the end of the abstract.

Each participant can present one abstract and be a co-author in another abstract.

A registration form should be submitted by October 30, 2016.

Use your surname + _reg to name the file with your registration form (e.g., Petrov_reg.doc). The registration form must include your surname and given names, affiliation with street address, phone number and e-mail address, form of participation (presenting author, co-author, no presentation). Indicate if you request booking a room at the dormitory of Moscow University during the Conference. If you need a Visa to enter Russia, please provide a scanned copy of your passport, as the organizers need to request an official invitation for your application to Russian Visa, and this is a time consuming process.

The Organizing Committee will make decisions on accepting abstracts by November 15, 2016. You will then receive a second circular with more detailed information, including the amount of Conference Fee (which is expected to be around 1000 Russian rubles, i.e., about 15 US$).
